BOIL WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT
The Municipal District of St. Stephen would like to provide clients on the municipal water system with an update to our current Boil Water Advisory situation.
This afternoon, Public Health authorized us to start the testing protocols required to lift the Boil Water Advisory. If the tests produce the desired results Public Health may be in a position to lift the advisory as early as tomorrow afternoon.
Additionally, the engineers were out to investigate the infrastructure failure at the main water well that serves our community. At this time indications are that while the well will require significant repairs, this damage does not pose a threat to the water quality of the well.
We continue to monitor the situation and more information will be released once it is available.
