Canada Day on the Waterfront

Canada Day on the Waterfront 2026

Celebrate Canada Day with family, friends, and community at Canada Day on the Waterfront in St. Stephen! Join us on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, for a fun-filled day of entertainment, activities, food, and festivities along the waterfront.

From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., visitors can browse a vibrant Vendor’s Market, enjoy free Canada Day bracelet making and family activities, and take part in a variety of community celebrations. Children can have their faces painted for free by Younghearts Live Art while families enjoy the festive atmosphere.

The official ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. with the National Anthem, raising of the flag, and welcome remarks. Following the ceremony, Kings Church will host a free community BBQ (while supplies last), and everyone is invited to enjoy free Canada Day cake at noon.

Throughout the afternoon, award-winning fiddler Katherine Moller will provide live Celtic music from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., bringing an energetic soundtrack to the celebration.

Whether you're looking for family-friendly activities, live entertainment, local vendors, or simply a great way to celebrate Canada Day, there’s something for everyone at the waterfront.
