NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Council of the Municipal District of St. Stephen, in compliance with Section 111 of the Community Planning Act of the Province of New Brunswick, intends to hold a Public Hearing of Objections for the proposed Zoning By-law Z-4 and on Wednesday September 10th, 2025, starting at 6:00 P.M., Garcelon Civic Center (3rd Floor).

The proposed Zoning By-law Z-4 is a by-law that permits development within the municipality according to zones and standards. The proposed Zoning By-law Z-4 is intended to support the development of new affordable housing, commercial businesses, and industries, as well as protect farming, minerals, rural resources, wildlife habitats, natural watercourses, and rural drinking water supplies.

A paper copy of Zoning By-law Z-4 can be inspected upon request at 22 Budd Ave, St. Stephen, NB, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Or, it may be viewed by clicking this link: LINK TO DRAFT ZONING BY-LAW Z-4.

Alternatively, anyone wishing to offer opinions on this proposed by-law may send a written letter addressed to Council and deliver to 22 Budd Ave, St. Stephen, NB, E3L 1E9 to the attention of Celeste Caswell.
