Lace up your skates for a casual family skate or a game of shinny—or come on down and watch a great game of hockey. The Quartermain Arena, at the Garcelon Civic Center is homebase for all things ice! Home to the St. Stephen High School Spartans, St. Stephen Minor Hockey Association, and Southern Ice Dogs Hockey Organization, there is always something happening at this NHL sized rink.
Did you know we have a free Sports Lending Library? The Sports Lending Library is only open during Pro-Shop hours. To sign up for a free account with the library, go to https://anc.ca.apm.activecommunities.com/chocolatetown/createaccount and click "create an account" in the top right corner. Accounts can be created in person at the Garcelon Civic Center as well.
Patrons must have an account with the Municipal District of St. Stephen in order to check out gear. Accounts can be created online or in person at the front desk. Accounts can only be created by a family member 19+.
Once an account has been created:
Ages 0-11 - parent must sign out gear
Ages 12+ may sign out gear only if they have been added to the account by their parent/guardian. We reserve the right to ID individuals checking out gear.
There is no charge to borrow items, but items destroyed or not returned will be billable to the main account holder.
Items will be lent out for up to 2 weeks. Drop-off is anytime at the Garcelon Civic Center.
Items can only be checked out during sports library operating hours. items cannot be checked out during irishmen or sshs games.

We are in need of more sports equipment and donations can be dropped off at anytime at the Garcelon Civic Center.
