On March 24 from 6–8 p.m. at the Garcelon in St. Stephen, the Government of New Brunswick and the Municipal District of St. Stephen are hosting a Community Homelessness Services Event that will bring together local organizations, service providers, and community members to talk about the reality of homelessness in our region.
The evening will include a community services trade show where organizations will share information about supports available locally, followed by a moderated discussion with officials from the Provincial Task Force and community partners about the challenges we’re facing, the gaps that exist, and how we can work together to strengthen support systems for people who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
These are not easy conversations, but they are necessary ones. If you care about the future of our community, this is an opportunity to listen, learn, and be part of the dialogue about how we respond with compassion, practicality, and collaboration.
