Original Six Charity Hockey Game

Game 2 of The Original Six League’s “ Summit Series “ is quickly approaching.

Circle the date and make sure you do not miss this one.

Saturday. January 28th at 7:00PM at The Garcelon Center!!!

Team West has some unfinished business from their narrow 8-7 defeat in Game 1 that was played on January 7th.

Brett Thurston, head coach of The West, said “ Their will be a slight adjustment to the West roster for this game. I’m not tipping our hand yet but our squad will be ready. The Cunningham boys scored 5 goals between them in Game 1. Let’s just say that won’t be happening in my barn next game. All we need to do is to win by two or more goals in regulation time and we win this Summit Series. It will happen.”

Rosters for Team East and team West will be released over the next week.

Game 1 of the Summit Series in Blacks Harbour raised nearly $2000.00 for the Canadian Mental Health Association Charlotte County Chapter.

The O6 players are hoping we blow this amount out of the water at the Garcelon Center. There is a “ Good Will Donation “ at the entrance of the Garcelon Center for this game if you are able to support. If not, come anyways and cheer your favorite team on.

Local business, The Game Time Sports Bar, has already donated $500 to this cause for the game and is challenging all other local businesses to jump on board and do the same! The Garcelon Civic Center donated the ice time, so all proceeds go to this great cause.

For more information on how you can make a donation if you are not able to attend this game, simply message Lisa Cheney right here on Facebook as Lisa represents The Charlotte County Mental Health Chapter.

January 28th, lets make a night of this, fill the Garcelon Center, and help make a difference.
