The West side sidewalk of King Street from the traffic circle to Queen Street West will be closed for approximately two weeks while the sidewalk is replaced, this will help with accessibility for parents with strollers and wheelchair users.
Pedestrians will be temporarily directed around the affected areas which may result in delays.
Drivers are asked to please take care while driving down King Street as workers and equipment will be on site, again there may be delays at certain times of the day.
This alert will remain in effect until the sidewalk re-opens but is expected to last a few weeks, another update will be provided when the project is completed.
Use alternate routes or posted detours as delays may take place
Pedestrians and Drivers should take care around the affected construction areas.
