ROAD WORK UPDATE – SUMMER 2026

The Municipal District of St. Stephen is pleased to share the roads and road sections selected for infrastructure improvements in 2026.

These projects were identified through our infrastructure assessment process and prioritized based on road condition, safety considerations, and available funding. While the roads listed on the attached poster are currently scheduled for work this year, please note that construction schedules may change due to weather, project progress, operational requirements, or contractor scheduling.

What residents should know:
• Expect occasional delays in construction areas
• Watch for road closures, detours, and flaggers
• Allow extra travel time when possible
• Follow posted signage and directions from traffic control personnel

It is important to note that the roads listed represent the sections selected for work in 2026 and are not intended to be a complete list of infrastructure needs within our community. We recognize that additional roads require attention, and we have plans in place to continue investing in road and infrastructure improvements in the years ahead.

Roads and sidewalks were identified by residents as one of the highest priorities for our community, and we are excited to continue making these investments that improve safety, accessibility, and quality of life for everyone who lives, works, and visits here.
