Show off your creativity for a chance to win some extra Christmas cash! Entry is FREE!
GINGERBREAD HOUSE COMPETITION – RULES
1. Free to enter! Open to individuals, families, and groups of all ages.
2. Get creative! Entries may be homemade or made using a gingerbread house kit. All decorating must be completed before drop-off.
3. Materials: Houses and decorations must be made from edible materials. A sturdy, non-edible display base is permitted.
4. Drop-off deadline: Entries must be delivered to the Garcelon Civic Center between 8am December 2nd and 4pm December 4th.
5. Entry information: Include the entrant’s name and phone number with the entry. For children, please provide a parent or guardian’s contact information. If we don't have your information, we can't contact you if you win!
6. Public display: Entries will be displayed during Crafts With Christmas Characters on December 5th (11am-1pm). Designs appropriate for a family event or the entry will be disqualified.
7. Voting: Winners will be determined by attendee votes at the event. One vote per person. In the event of a tie, event organizers will determine the winner.
8. Prizes: 1st place – $250 | 2nd place – $150 | 3rd place – $50. Winners will be contacted using the information provided.
9. Handling and collection: Entries must be sturdy enough to move and display. Organizers will handle entries with care but cannot guarantee against damage. Pickup arrangements will be provided at drop-off.
10. Display only: Entries will not be served or eaten at the event.

Crafts with Christmas Characters

This is a free family event featuring Christmas crafts and photo opportunities with Santa, Mrs. Claus and all your favourite Christmas characters! PLUS attendees will have the opportunity to vote for the winner of the St. Stephen Gingerbread House Competition!
