BOIL WATER ORDER UPDATE
February 20, 2025
The Boil Water Order for the Municipal District of St. Stephen remains in full force and effect at this time. Residents are asked to continue to comply with this order until advised by officials of a change in status.
The Municipal District is pleased to inform its residents that laboratory testing results with respect to the water sample taken yesterday met the regulatory requirements. A second sample was taken today and couriered to the laboratory for analysis. While we are optimistic that this sample will also meet requirements, it cannot be guaranteed at this time.
A further update will be issued following receipt of testing results tomorrow and/or when the Department of Public Health advises us as to any decision regarding our system status.
Citizens Should:
- Continue to comply with the Boil Water Order until advised otherwise
- Continue to monitor Municipal District of St. Stephen communications for further updates
- Make getting updates easier by joining, or assisting others to join, the Municipal District of St. Stephen Alertable system at https://town.ststephen.nb.ca/alertable-community-notifications
