Municipal government plays a direct role in shaping the services, programs, and future of St. Stephen—from recreation and infrastructure to community growth and local decision-making. If you’re passionate about your community and want to be part of meaningful change, consider putting your name forward.

Positions available:

  • Mayor (at large)

  • 3 Urban Councillors

  • 3 Rural Councillors

You don’t need to be a career politician—just someone who cares about your community and is ready to step up. To be a candidate in New Brunswick, you must be at least 18 years old, a Canadian citizen, and a resident of the community for at least six months prior to the election.
