Marg Harding

Councillor

Marg Harding has served as a St. Stephen Town Councillor for many years, during which she has been Chair of the Police and Fire Committee.  She is currently the Town's Strategic Priority Champion for Drug Reduction.

Marg is retired after 30 years as a Customs Inspector with Canada Border Services Agency. Since retirement, she has been an active member of the meals on wheels program in the St. Stephen area. She is one of the nine founding members of Fundy Region Transition House for battered women and abused children. Marg is extremely proud of St. Stephen and finds that this small town is inclusive of all types of people. It is a place where everyone will lend a helping hand to neighbours and strangers alike.

Married with two children, Marg is an avid birdwatcher—and since her home is on the banks of the St. Croix River, she has the opportunity to watch waterfowl as well.
