Wade Greenlaw

Councillor

Wade Greenlaw is a returning Councillor for the Municipal District of St. Stephen, first elected in 2022 and re-elected to continue serving residents. Raised in Milltown, New Brunswick, he graduated from St. Stephen High School before serving more than four years with the United States Navy’s Nuclear Submarine Fleet.

After returning to the St. Stephen area in 1988, Wade began a career with NB Power at the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station. Over more than 33 years, he held leadership and professional roles in Operations, Fuel Handling, Human Resources, Compensation and Benefits, Training, Emergency Services, and Maintenance. He also served as Business Manager of IBEW Local 37, representing NB Power employees, and held leadership positions as Chair and Trustee of two major employee trust funds.

As a councillor, Wade has developed significant experience in economic development and regional collaboration. He serves on the boards of several local community organizations and has represented the municipality on various regional committees and initiatives. He has also served on the Board of Directors and Executive of the Union of Municipalities of New Brunswick (UMNB), advocating for issues important to municipalities across the province.

Wade is committed to open communication, transparency, and building strong relationships with residents, businesses, community organizations, and government partners. He believes sustainable growth is achieved through collaboration, responsible decision-making, and investment in local opportunities.

Wade and his wife, Lisa, have lived in Dufferin for more than 20 years. Since retiring from NB Power, he has dedicated additional time to municipal leadership and community service, working to help build a strong, vibrant, and prosperous future for the Municipal District of St. Stephen.
